About This Project
A full office fit-out for Al-Sulta — from strip-out and metal-stud framing through gypsum ceiling work to a finished reception with a wood-panel feature wall, a world-map mural meeting room, and open-plan workstations.
The Brief
A larger office fit-out for Al-Sulta covering a full floor — reception, a meeting room, and open-plan workstations — starting from an empty shell rather than a partial refresh of an existing office.
The Approach
The scale of this one meant the sequencing mattered more than usual: metal-stud framing and gypsum ceiling work across the whole floor first, then finishes layered in room by room — a wood-panel feature wall behind the reception desk, a world-map mural as the meeting room's anchor feature, and marble detailing worked into the TV wall and hallway. The built-in desk and cabinet units in the workstation area were designed to match the reception's material language, so the floor reads as one fit-out rather than a reception done well with an office added on afterward.
The Outcome
A complete office floor — reception, marble-detailed hallway, meeting room, and workstations — built out from bare framing, with the reception's wood-panel and marble language carried through the rest of the space.
